In2Cricket Program
What is In2Cricket?
The In2Cricket program is all about fun and being introduced to the game of cricket. Each clinic is built to teach skills, but do so in a fun and enjoyment oriented environment.
In terms of material covered, this age group has the sole aim of introducing players to the basic skills of cricket, such as (but not limited to):
- Holding the bat correctly,
- Getting the bowling action correct, and
- Getting in correct position to field the ball.
This clinic is designed each week to keep all participants active at all times during a particular clinic session. Drills and Skills are designed so that all participants are practicing skills for as much time in the session as possible.
All In2Cricket coaches are volunteers. They are here in the best interests of helping all of our participants become the stars of the club in the future. All parents are encouraged to discuss your child’s progress with coaches and make themselves known to them.
Registration for the season is $70. This covers the cost of the “giveaway pack” that each child receives. If we run out of packs on registration day, one will be ordered for each child that is owed one and will be given to them as soon as possible.
JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
To register online:
- Go to the mycricket website http://mycricket.cricket.com.au/
- On the front page, go the "Find a team and join now" box, and choose the 'in2cricket' option. Type in the postcode as 3337.
- The list of clubs that fit the search criteria will show on the page http://mycricket.cricket.com.au/pages/clubfinder.aspx?mode=2&stext=&pcode=3337 Be sure to select the tab 'in2cricket' so to show all in2cricket centres only.
- Select under 'Melton Centrals Cricket Club' 'register for this centre' (we are one of only three centres that you can register online for) and the following link will open in a new window. http://mycricket.cricket.com.au/pages/clubfinderdetails.aspx?params=1460|true|2|1|false|1|1&entityID=1460 All of our session and centre information displays.
- Click the button 'register for milo in2cricket centre now', the following link https://mycricket.cricket.com.au/pages/noauth/olregstart.aspx?entityid=1460&sslredirect=1&mode=1 appears.
- Select the option relevant to you, be you a new player or returning player.
